Privacy policy
Effective: 3 August 2026
Summary
Entropex LLC operates entropex.io as an informational website. We do not collect personal information, set advertising or tracking cookies, or share data with third parties. We do measure anonymous page views, so we can tell which pages are worth maintaining — but nothing is stored on your device, and those measurements cannot be linked to you, to each other, or to a previous visit. The site is a static marketing presence; there are no forms, accounts, or interactive features that submit data to us.
Who we are
Entropex LLC is a Washington limited liability company with its principal place of business in Washington State, United States. For privacy questions, write to support@entropex.io.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information through this website.
- We do not use cookies, web beacons, pixels, fingerprinting, or session replay, and we store nothing on your device — no cookies, no local storage, no session storage.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics networks (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising SDKs, or comparable tools). The anonymous measurement described in the next section runs inside our own Microsoft Azure tenant.
- We do not build visitor profiles. We cannot tell that two page views came from the same person, and we cannot recognize a returning visitor.
- We do not sell, rent, or share information about visitors.
Anonymous usage measurement
So that we can tell which pages are actually useful, each page records one anonymous page view using Azure Application Insights — a Microsoft service running inside our own Azure tenant. It is not an advertising network, and the data is never shared with, sold to, or enriched by anyone.
A page view sends exactly five things:
- The page path, for example
/services/cloud-architecture.html. Query strings are deliberately stripped before sending, because they are a common place for personal data to end up by accident. - The page title.
- The hostname of the site that referred you, for example
google.com. The full referring address is never sent, because it can contain search terms or private page addresses. - The date and time.
- How long the page took to load, in milliseconds. This describes our site's performance on the connection, not anything about you or your device.
What it deliberately does not do matters just as much:
- Nothing is stored on your device. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage — there is no identifier for you to clear, because none is ever written.
- Page views are not linked to one another. The reference attached to each page view is generated fresh on every page load and never saved anywhere, so consecutive pages in the same visit cannot be connected.
- Your IP address is not stored. Microsoft Azure uses it momentarily to derive an approximate location — country, state or region, and city — and then discards it. The address recorded alongside the page view is an empty placeholder (
0.0.0.0, or::for IPv6 connections), never your real one. - We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends either signal, nothing is sent at all.
- No third-party code runs on this site. The measurement is a few lines of our own JavaScript, not a vendor script, and the site's Content Security Policy forbids loading scripts from anywhere else.
These measurements are retained for 30 days and then deleted automatically.
What is logged automatically
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. The hosting platform produces standard server access logs as a normal function of serving requests over the public internet. These logs may include:
- The IP address of the requesting client
- The requested URL and HTTP method
- The user agent string and referrer header sent by the browser
- Response status code, byte size, and timestamp
These logs are produced and retained by Microsoft Azure under its own data handling commitments and are used only for operational purposes such as troubleshooting, abuse detection, and platform security. They are not used to build profiles of visitors or to identify individuals. We do not export, enrich, or correlate these logs with any other data source.
Email correspondence
If you contact us by email at support@entropex.io, we will receive whatever information you choose to send and will retain that correspondence for normal business purposes. Email is handled by Microsoft 365 and is subject to Microsoft's data processing terms.
Children
This site is directed to businesses and adult professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Visitors outside the United States
Entropex LLC is located in the United States, and both the hosting and the measurement infrastructure operate in U.S. regions. If you visit from outside the United States, your request is served from U.S. infrastructure and the anonymous page view described above is processed there. Because that measurement stores no identifier, no device data, and no IP address, we do not hold personal information from site visits. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, no measurement is collected at all.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or store personal information through this website, there is no visitor data on file to access, correct, or delete. The anonymous page views described above carry no identifier of any kind, so there is nothing in them that could be traced back to an individual and retrieved on request. If you have sent us email and would like that correspondence deleted, write to the address below and we will honor the request.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS with HSTS, a Content Security Policy, and other standard hardening headers. There are no databases, no user accounts, and no payment processing associated with this site.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance.
